The chain slips or has snapped
- Cause
- A worn gearbox in a roller shade or vertical blind - the single most common failure.
- What we do
- We replace the mechanism and the chain. The fabric and tube stay, so it costs a fraction of a new unit.
Slats sag, fall out or are broken
- Cause
- In horizontal blinds the ladder cords and lift cords tear; in vertical ones the carriers and slat hooks break.
- What we do
- We replace damaged slats and carriers, or re-cord the unit entirely. Fabric for vertical blinds comes from our in-stock catalogue.
The shutter will not lift or runs skewed
- Cause
- A torn strap, a worn spring, a damaged tube, or slats knocked out of the guide rail after an impact.
- What we do
- We open the box, replace the strap or tube, refit the slats and adjust the travel.
Gates ignore the remote or stop mid-travel
- Cause
- A dead remote battery or lost pairing, dirty photocells, misaligned limit switches, or a failing drive.
- What we do
- We diagnose the automation, clean and realign the photocells, reset the limit switches and, if needed, replace the board or the drive.
The fabric is soiled or sun-bleached
- Cause
- Kitchen grease, dust and a few years of direct sun on the south side.

- Cleaning sometimes saves it, but more often it pays to re-cover the existing mechanism with new fabric - the mechanism stays yours.

Do you repair blinds bought elsewhere?
Yes - that is most of our repair work. We manufacture blinds and shutters ourselves, so we have the components and tools regardless of who made your unit.
How much does a repair cost?
It depends on the fault. Replacing a chain or a carrier is minor; replacing a gate drive costs noticeably more. We quote after inspection, and a photo of the mechanism sent on Telegram or Viber is often enough to give you a figure in advance.
Is the repair done at the workshop or at my home?
Mostly on site in a single visit. If the fabric needs replacing or the tube needs serious work, we take the unit to the workshop on Vidrodzhennia Avenue and bring it back finished.
Is there a warranty on repairs?
Yes - one year on the work done and the parts replaced, the same as on new products.
Is it worth repairing old blinds?
Usually yes: a mechanism costs far less than a whole unit. But if the fabric is bleached and the housing is falling apart, we will say so plainly - selling you a pointless repair is not in our interest either.
