A day-night fabric is made of alternating stripes: sheer and opaque. When the stripes line up, even diffused light enters the room. When they shift, the room darkens. It is not a two-state open/closed system but a smooth scale between them.
That is why day-night blinds usually go into bedrooms and living rooms: during the day you see the street without glare, and in the evening the neighbours' windows no longer look in.
We mount them on the sash of a PVC window or across the whole opening, depending on whether you need access to the windowsill. The specialist will advise during the measurement.

Frequently asked questions
Do day-night blinds darken a room completely?
No - some light still passes through the opaque stripes. If you need real darkness for daytime sleep or a projector, choose blackout roller blinds with a solid fabric.
How long does production take?
The order enters production the same day it is placed. The exact lead time depends on fabric availability and is confirmed right after the measurement.
Can they be fitted to a non-standard window?
We manufacture to your measurements, so non-standard width or height is fine. For sloped and skylight windows, however, the day-night mechanism does not work - pleated blinds are the answer there.
